We have successfully helped people from various countries with their immigration and citizenship processes. As an AABB-accredited laboratory, we are recognized and recommended by various Embassies. Our experience includes applications with Thailand, USA, UK, Switzerland, Germany, France, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Sweden, Australia and many more countries.
We are familiar with different processes followed by different countries, and are experienced in working directly with Embassies to facilitate DNA collections and testing on behalf of our clients.
It is important to note that not all immigration/citizenship applications require a DNA test. If they do, then most Embassies require an application has first been initiated by the person/guardian requesting citizenship, before proceeding with a DNA test. Having said that, a DNA test done prior to initiating a citizenship application – if done by a recognized and approved laboratory – is often favorably received as supporting documentation as part of the application process.
If you think you need a test for Immigration purposes, please contact us first to discuss your nationality and specific Embassy.
Only tests which have had their samples follow a strict chain-of-custody process (making it a Legal Test), will be considered in immigration cases. This means that the DNA is collected by a certified, independent third party, and your identity has been verified and documented. Unusual samples will not be accepted in immigration cases. Some Embassies even require DNA samples to be collected at the local Embassy, with an Embassy Official present; we have experience coordinating these type of collections with various Embassies.
Our immigration tests – like all our normal relationship tests – are guaranteed at 99.99% probability of paternity, which is above industry standards.
