| Details | Depending on which test you select, these tests determine if a stain is semen/contains seminal fluids or if a stain contains blood. The test will not provide a DNA profile of whose semen it is, but can be used in conjunction with DNA Profiling. At PTC Laboratories, we use visual inspection as well as chemical analysis on the alleged stain(s). These are confirmatory tests that confirm the sample is semen/blood.
